Penida to Settle Into Stillness retreat at Soulshine in Ubud

We’re headed to Soulshine today for the main event - a week long yoga retreat and excursions. :))

We had a small earthquake this morning from our 2nd story verandah. Interesting!

Such a great day yesterday. Sara and I went to Kelingking coast (overlook) - a 45 minute drive on super rough “road”. We then joined Nicole at Gamat Bay beach to snorkel and layout. You wouldn’t believe the reef and fishes- so vibrant and colorful. Accessible right from the beach (although more tricky at lower tide)!

Then about 15-min walk UP a big hill to Amok sunset bar. We swam in the pool overlooking the sea and crystal clear Mt. Agung. Then to our tree house for happy hour drinks and dinner (Panang. Delicious!)

Back to Tanah Damai for more pool-side massages ($16 for an hour).

A great day.

<3 Bali

Today, is a slow morning. And catching the ferry back to Sanur to meet up with the driver to take us to Soulshine. We’ll meet up with the group for dinner tonight. :)

Sara, Nicole and I made it to Soulshine in Ubud with just enough time to get a room change (to an upper floor- beautiful!) and make it to the opening circle and cacao ceremony. Then dinner. Then a sound journey performance. Epic.

So great to see my teacher Jane Bloom from Las Cruces!

We’ll be here all week on this yoga retreat. Probably a lot shorter posts and a lot fewer photos!
