Nusa Penida and Gara Gara Seaview hotel

Waking up at Prime Plaza was nice (but I really missed the slow pace and open cool air of Sidemen). So glad to have Nicole here though and looking very forward to Nusa Penida! This has been on my bucket list for years.

We took Angel Billibong fast boat, the 2 p.m. one arriving at 3 p.m. Free car ride to our Gara Gara hotel.

Note on photo credits: Most photos on this blog are from me, but there are also several contributions from Nicole, Sara, and Jeremy and other members of the retreat. Thank you!

Our first night at Nusa was on the north end - at Gara Gara seaview. A small hotel - maybe 5 cabins? - but super cute. Epic view of Mt Agung from the infinity pool. Dinner pool side.

We booked 90-minute massages poolside ($20) and an all-day snorkeling-lunch-and land tour ($60) on booking.com for the next day.

LOVE IT!!

Epic sunrise! We had a super quick breakfast and then off to our all-day tour with a pick up at 7:30 a.m.
