A beer and lunch stop at “panorama sidemen” restaurant- steps down from the overlook-bamboo platform. Happy. Place.
Met Ginny and Becky from the group and got to ride with them to their lodge in the mountains.

Made it to Sanur - to our posh hotel to meet up with Nicole around 4 p.m. (Then on to Nusa Penida tomorrow where Sara joins us!)

Walked 20 minutes back (down) to cabin, past drying cloves
Back to the overlook with Ari's wife and Ginny and Betsy from the group

Villages enroute - preparing for Galungan
"Galungan is a Balinese holiday celebrating the victory of dharma over adharma (light over dark). It marks the time when the ancestral spirits visit the Earth. The date is calculated according to the 210-day Balinese Pawukon calendar."

And on to Sanur and our hotel (Prime Plaza Hotel) where I met up with Nicole. YEAY! We'll have time for a pool-side dinner and a bit of repacking (taking only a daypack to Nusa).
